We are committed to supporting the local economy through the work we undertake. The majority of our projects are with local clients in the regions where we operate, primarily across the South West. By prioritising local projects and collaborating with local consultants and contractors, we aim to strengthen regional communities while reducing the environmental impact associated with travel.

Working ‘barefoot’ means that our buildings minimise their environmental footprint, are in touch with their community, and physically connected to their places.
Our design choices have impacts on a wide range of people and the communities in which they are located. We take this responsibility seriously, and seek to consult with them at all stages. This is to ensure we understand first, and respond with empathy to their perspectives.
To enable collaboration with clients and communities, we use a range of co-design processes and tools to facilitate positive engagement, which enables better outcomes for all parties.
