We are a passionate team with wide-ranging skills and experience. We have a shared set of values and work with like-minded clients who care about people and the planet.

We do wear shoes to work, but we want to tread lightly on the Earth – and this is key to our ethos.

Barefoot Architects is a collaborative team of architects, designers and creative thinkers working across our studios in Bristol, Totnes and Dorchester. We’re passionate about creating thoughtful, sustainable architecture and building strong relationships with our clients, communities and collaborators.

Our team brings together wide-ranging experience across housing, community projects, bespoke homes and retrofit, united by a shared belief in practical, well-crafted design that improves everyday life and transforms the way people live to create a deep feeling of belonging.

We welcome visitors to our studios; please get in touch to arrange a time to visit.
